Trauma is a subjective experience. Many people are traumatized and do not realize it for quite some time; but the body remembers.
Many people can hold off years after a trauma and then not understand why the rage and anger has started surfacing. Recognizing the signs and symptoms of trauma can help aid in the recovery.
Don’t put off your healing any longer. Yes, the path of healing is painful, but the path of denial is a much worse place to reside.
There must be recognition, processing, and eventual peace with the trauma before true healing occurs.
